In a laugh-out-loud segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night, the host and Tom Hanks, star of the new Steven Spielberg thriller Bridge of Spies, did a dramatic reading of film scenes that elementary school students wrote. The kids were tasked with writing their own scripts for Bridge of Spies, without knowing anything about the film except for the title. The youngsters took it quite literally, but of course, the Oscar-winning actor seemed to take it as seriously as an audition for any other major role.
Fallon has also done this segment, known as “Kid Theater,” with actors Michael Keaton and Channing Tatum.
